ALPHA-VIT

The combination of Vitamin A, B Complex Vitamins, and Vitamin E & Minerals provides daily maintenance of the overall good condition of the animal’s body. Thus the combination of these vitamins & minerals helps in the prevention & treatment of vitamin related deficiencies like hypovitaminosis in animals. With the addition of amino acids, the needed energy substrates during period of stress and starvation could be replenished.

  • ZINC SULFATE – is a trace mineral used for Zinc deficiency and to reduce copper toxicity in susceptible dog breeds

ARTHROPET

The combination of Glucosamine and Chondroitin regulates synthesis of collagen proteoglycans in cartilage and inhibits destructive enzymes in joint fluid and cartilages. Calcium is an essential element that is required for many functions in the body including the musculoskeletal system function. Thus Cholecalciferol increases the absorption of calcium by the intestines. Turmeric helps in the generation of Transforming growth factor Beta that promotes cell repair.

EXCELVIT

The combination of Vitamin A, B Complex Vitamins, and Vitamin E & Minerals provides daily maintenance of the overall good condition of the animal’s body. Thus the combination of these vitamins & minerals helps in the prevention & treatment of vitamin related deficiencies like hypovitaminosis in animals.

  • RETINOL – a vitamin potentially useful for adjunctive treatment of some types of dermatoses in animals
  • B Complex Vitamins – are water soluble vitamins that helps maintain the overall function of the animal’s body
  • ALPHA-TOCOPHEROL – a vitamin that has been used for various skin-related problems in different animals and also used as an adjunctive treatment for hepatopathies
  • Trace Minerals – also called microminerals which helps in the overall functions of many organs in the animals body

GROOMING

Chamomile provides a mild scent that helps calm dogs during stressed conditions. It also provides a soothing effect on skin irritations and inflammations on animals that are caused by fleabites, contact allergies, hot spots and other bacterial & fungal infections. Chamomile is also safe to use on dogs and cats in fact it doesn’t irritate the eyes.

  • CHAMOMILE – a type of plant that provides many beneficial effects on animals like dogs & cats

LIVERATOR

Andrographolide provides many different effects mainly antioxidant effect and hepatoprotective effect by which it inhibits lipid peroxidation by lowering the levels of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances in the liver of animals and also significantly increase the level of hepatic glutathione concentrations. The anti-inflammatory effects of Andrographolide were due to reducing the inflammatory response associated to histamine, dimethyl benzene and adrenaline that may be helpful during hepatitis cases. Andrographolide was also studied to be much more potent compared to Sylimarin.

  • Andrographis paniculata – a plant that contains the phytochemical Andrographolide
  • Other natural & medicinal plant extracts

PETCURE

Tetracyclines are bacteriostatic antibiotics that inhibit protein synthesis by reversibly binding to 30S ribosomal subunits of susceptible organisms like bacteria, thus preventing aminoacyl transfer-RNA binding to those ribosomes.

  • DOXYCYLINE HYCLATE – a Tetracycline family of antibiotic

PETPALS NATURAL TICK & FLEA SHAMPOO

FORMULATION:

Neem Oil Extract …………………………………… 1%

Virgin Coconut Oil Extract ……………………… 2%

Lavender Oil Extract ………………………………. 1%

INDICATION:

A natural blend of shampoo that is specific for the prevention of ectoparasite infestation such as ticks and fleas to both dogs and cats

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

  • Thoroughly wet the coat of the animal with clean water and apply PetPals Natural Tick & Flea Shampoo to several points on the animal’s body to obtain a good lather.
  • Massage the shampoo all over the animal’s body and even on hard to reach areas and allow standing for at least 10 to 15 minutes then rinse off the shampoo with clean water.
  • Use and apply the shampoo twice weekly until the ectoparasite infestation has been alleviated or as prescribed by a duly licensed Veterinarian.

COMPOSITION

NEEM OIL – an oil derived from Neem tree that contains triterpenes like Azadirachtin and Nimbin. The triterpene Azadirachtin is the one responsible for the tick & flea and insect repellent effects of Neem oil while the other triterpene Nimbin is known for its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antifungal effects in Neem oil.

VIRGIN COCONUT OIL – an oil derived from a mature coconut that contains Lauric Acid which is a fatty acid known for its antimicrobial effects, antifungal effects, also facilitates faster wound healing in skin caused by tick & flea bites. It is also known that Lauric Acid in coconut oil has also repellent effects on ticks & fleas affecting dogs & cats

LAVENDER OIL – an oil derived from the flower spikes of lavender plants which is known for its aromatic benefits but it also contains a terpene alcohol Linalool which is a natural plant insecticide that can be used in controlling ticks & fleas affecting both dogs & cats

    PET REBOOST

The combination of D-Ribose and Glucose provides the ultimate source of energy needed by the animal to perform many specific functions and during stressful conditions like sickness, travelling & pet shows. Along with L-Carnitine that converts normal fat to energy that is needed by the animal during pet competitions. Stressful conditions in an animal may cause the loss of energy & minerals in the body so providing Electrolytes may maintain the normal physiological functions needed by the animal.

    • D-RIBOSE – a simple, five-carbon sugar but are different from other form of sugar because it doesn’t cause toxicity and the body preserves it for the vital work of making the energy molecule that powers the heart, muscles and brain of the animal
    • GLUCOSE – a simple sugar that serves as a fuel to generate energy that the animal’s body cells use to carry their biological functions
    • L-CARNITINE – a nutrient required for normal fat utilization and energy metabolism in mammalian species like dogs & cats
    • ELECTROLYTES – are minerals that are associated in many essential physiological processes in the animal’s body

    PRAZILEX

The combination of Praziquantel and Levamisole offers a wider spectrum of anthelmintic action.

Praziquantel acts by interfering with the relation of intercellular concentration impairing both motility and function of the suckers of the cestodes, while, Levamisole acts as agonist of nicotinic acetyl choline receptor of nematodes resulting to paralysis of the parasite.

    • PRAZIQUANTEL – an anti-cestodal anthelmintic used commonly to dogs & cats
    • LEVAMISOLE – an anti-nematodal parasiticide that may be useful as an immunostimulant

    TOPICURE

The combination of Pinus longifolia oil, Eucalyptus ssp. oil, Cedrus deodora oil & Curcumin provides both antimicrobial & antifungal protection to infected wounds. Also the combination of Eucalyptus ssp. oil & Cedrus deodora oil produces fly-repellent effect that prevents a fly from touching the surface of the wound. The 1,8 Cineole in the Eucalyptus ssp. oil has a property to shrink the surface of the maggot that will cause its death. While Curcumin quickens wound healing by promoting the generation of Transforming growth factor Beta that promotes cell repair.

    • Pinus longifolia oil – contains the phytochemical Alpha-Pinene & Delta-3-Carene that disrupts the cell membrane of fungi & bacteria that infects the wound
    • Eucalyptus ssp. oil – contains the phytochemical 1,8 Cineole that has antifungal, antibacterial, fly-repellent and maggoticidal properties
    • Cedrus deodora oilhas antifungal, antibacterial and fly-repellent properties which is necessary for fast healing of wounds.
    • Curcumin – promotes the generation of Transforming growth factor Beta that promotes wound repair.
